References are one of the strongest ways to prove your experience, reliability, and skills. On VulaMart Jobs, references are requested through your Job Seeker Profile and completed by verified users so employers can have more confidence in what they read.
Why references matter so much
References are the most powerful way to get other people to vouch for your work experience, skills, character, and reliability. A strong written reference from someone who knows your work can make a major difference when an employer is deciding who to contact.
How to request verified work references
The process is simple, but it works best when you are thoughtful about who you ask and what details you provide.
Register as a customer
Start by creating a normal VulaMart customer account if you do not already have one.
Go to My Account and open My Job Seeker Profile
Once logged in, go to My Account, then Jobs, then My Job Seeker Profile.
Create your profile
If you have not created your Job Seeker Profile yet, do that first. Your references belong to that profile.
Go to the References section
Inside your Job Seeker Profile, scroll to the References section where you can manage and request references.
Click Request Reference
Enter the person’s name, email address, phone number, and how you know this person.
They receive an email request
That person will receive an email asking them to provide a written reference about you and follow the secure link in the message.
They sign in or register before submitting
The person providing the reference needs to log in, or register if they are not yet registered, because we want verified users to be the people submitting references.
Add as many as you can
You can request as many references as you want. In general, the more strong references you have, the better your profile looks to employers.

Choose people who are likely to open the email, follow the instructions, and submit the written reference properly.
